Critical Infrastructure

District Support Grants
Provides Special Districts funding for localized infrastructure (water, sewer, improvements). Grants support water supply and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and storm water control. The program also offers matching funds for road paving and repairs within specific residential or industrial districts.

Maintenance
The 1% tax preserves county buildings and public assets by funding structural repairs to parking garages, applying friction sealant, and upgrading AV and security systems.

Road & Bridge
Funding maintains the county road network for industrial and
agricultural traffic through dust suppression, striping, and culvert
replacement. Construction projects included asphalt maintenance (chip and slurry seals), spot reconstruction, and pavement overlays.
Public Safety

Joint Powers Fire Board
Funds equipment and vehicle maintenance and replacement, facility upkeep, and critical infrastructure projects, such as the Station 1 boiler replacement, to ensure emergency response readiness.

Sheriff’s Office
Supports public safety by funding School Resource Officers (SROs) to secure county schools and provides for the continuous replacement and maintenance of the patrol vehicle fleet and associated law enforcement equipment.

Emergency Management
One-time use of this funding provided matching funds for a federal grant to upgrade the countywide emergency siren system, ensuring reliable public alerts and disaster preparedness.
Community Support Programs

Parks & Recreation Department
Funds youth programs, annual fireworks, cardio and weight equipment replacement, and youth programs. One-time use expenditures include a pool vacuum, "lily pads" for aquatic play, a handicap-accessible golf
car, portable basketball hoops, bleachers, and shade structures for Half Pipe Alley.

Public Health
Funds adult shingles, Tdap, HPV, and Meningitis immunizations for
residents without insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. The funds alsosupported the School Flu Project, a community partnership thatprovides no-cost flu vaccinations to students via a mobile clinic. In thefall of 2025, this program administered over 1,100 vaccines across 25 schools.

Senior Citizens Services
Provides dedicated support for the Campbell County Senior Center to ensure our aging population remains active and engaged.
